We will be filming our gig at Sticky Fingers next Wednesday, July 2nd. If everything turns out well and you all look good on camera, we will use some of the material for our next video! Andy has done the final vocal tracks this weekend and we have also recorded some additional guitar melodies.
Everything sounds awesome and we are really pleased with the result so far! We are sure that Mattias will do a great job mixing the tracks!

So here it is! We've uploaded a new track from our, so far, untitled forthcoming album at our MYSPACE page. The song goes under the working-title "Facing reality". You'll hear it on the new record along with 9 other killing Within Y songs!
Talking of which, we have set September 26th to begin the recordings of our long anticipated third album. A new gig confirmed! We will play at a new rock/metal club called Club Centurion in our hometown Gothenburg August 22nd! This might be the only chance to see us live this summer, so don't miss out! Thim has left the band. See statement below.
After several years of pain in my wrists, I´ve come to the point where I can´t perform at the top of my abillity and to do what it takes to play at this level anymore.
I don´t know what the future holds, but this is it for now.
There is no hard feelings between me and the guys. I wish them all the best and good luck with Within Y!
Please come and see me perform with the band for the last two times in Gothenburg/Henriksberg or in Hässleholm this week!

The new page is up and running! We have booked a releaseparty at Sticky Fingers in Gothenburg the 12th of May, where you can buy our new album and enjoy a great liveshow! Check your local store for the next issue of Close up magazine (#83) where Within Y will be featured with a new song and an interview!

News, News.. Here´s the front cover of "Portraying Dead Dreams"! The album is done, we got it back from the mastering just before Christmas. Now we only have a few more details left on the artwork. Our new album, which will be entitled Portraying Dead Dreams, is almost done. Soon we'll send it away for the final mastering. Some titels that will be featured are Breeding Murder, As The Dust, Fade Away, Feeding The Disease and A New Life. Finally everything´s done! Andreas has ripped his throat up this time, and all the guitars are done! We will start mixing the album sometime during late October. We will put up a new videoclip any day now, with a little of this and that. Keep em up!

After a week of severe string punishment the turn has come to Andreas to put down his throat-ripping vocals on the tracks. We are very pleased with the result so far, and if everything goes as planned we will exit the studio early next week. Check back for more studio videoclips soon!

Hey ya´ll! Everything is running smoothly, Mikael has done almost all his rythm guitars which sounds absolutely stunning! Niknam has started his work on the rythm section as well! And as we promised here´s a little clip of Thims drumming!

The drums are recorded and they sound great! Thim has done an amazing job, finished all drum recordings in just two days. Today we started recording Mikael´s guitars and we´re really satisfied with how they sound! Soon you can also have a look on Thims drumming. So check back soon, and a little videoclip will be up!

Good news!! Within Y will enter GBG Sound Studio to record the follow up to "Extended Mental Dimensions" at the end of next week. The album title will be revealed shortly! We will start with the drums as usal and hopefully we can give you a hint on how Thim's doing in a little videoclip in a week or two! So stay tuned for a short studio diary, as some clips to download!
